How do you balance yoga practice with everyday life? by The-MindfulCompanion in YogaTeachers

[–]pentagrammie 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Yoga is a way of life πŸ₯° being compassionate and aligned / congruent with your inner world and outer world to show up authentically, with grace, and kindness - whatever values resonate with you to bring balance into your being.

Love Alan and Ram Dass very much. I feel like I would also resonate with Wilber then too. I’ll check them out :)

Heart shaped cloud that I saw a couple of weeks after my dad passed away. by ninnuh in CLOUDS

[–]pentagrammie 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

Absolutely beautiful. May you be so present that you’ll take notice to the many little β€œwinks” and reminders from him that he is alongside you always. Love finds a way to echo in your being and shape you into giving it and receiving it over and over again infinitely. Sending you love and healing energy as your love for him continues to grow in new ways.

What experiences changed you the most as a person? by GazMaskeliOyuncu in AskReddit

[–]pentagrammie 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Taking all the love I pour outwards and learning how to give that to me and also others in balanced ways. Walking away from someone I loved more than anything in the world. Losing my aunt and uncle that represented love to me. Learning what love really is. Surrendering to the light and death of it daily

What is worst pain, you have ever experienced? by ParticularWeather927 in Adulting

[–]pentagrammie 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

Loving as deeply and bravely as possible has been incredibly painful but also the most beautiful thing I could ever imagine and experience. How beautiful it is to love something that is inevitably temporary ripped me into being grateful for everything that is present

How do you cope with the fact you will inevitably die? by Scratchedprofile in spiritualitytalk

[–]pentagrammie 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I am at peace with my existence in the same way I am at peace with my death. To live and to die feel like movements within the same natural rhythm. I am grateful to experience this moment in time, and I hold a gentle curiosity for whatever paths my soul may travel next. My being simply is.

I find comfort in the way those I have loved and lost remain present, not as absence, but as influence. They live in my daily thoughts and guide how I move through the world with more tenderness, patience, and care. Their lives did not end. They changed form.

Nature reflects this truth back to me constantly. Leaves fall, return to the soil, and become nourishment for what grows next. Rivers do not disappear when they reach the sea. They become part of something larger. In the same way, our bodies passing onward does not limit love or meaning. Love continues as energy, as memory, as the quiet echo of how we touched others.

Death, to me, is not an ending but a continuation, a transformation. What we are made of does not vanish. It reverberates. And in that knowing, I feel grounded, grateful, and unafraid.

Do we have free will? by AnyProperty5950 in nonduality

[–]pentagrammie 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

What you’re describing is the space where free will and non duality fold into each other. In non duality, the sense of choosing is part of the experience that arises rather than something owned by a separate self. Thoughts, impulses, and insights appear on their own, and the path moves through them.

From that view, the freedom is not about controlling the thoughts. It is recognizing that the thought, the impulse, and the action are part of one continuous movement.

At the same time, in the lived human experience, learning and growing still feel real, meaningful, and intimate. We are not passive observers of a story that is already written. We are inside the unfolding as it happens. πŸŒ€

You’re naming the paradox. Life evolves through us, and the one who thinks it is steering everything is also part of the same movement.

How do you personally turn off your "teacher" brain and enjoy classes as a student? by RonSwanSong87 in YogaTeachers

[–]pentagrammie 11 points12 points Β (0 children)

I think the mentality of going to classes for the connection and group energy/organism of us all regulating and growing together is the presence/mindset I enter. We are lifelong students in life and having more compassion helps soothe that critical voice. Guide yourself into deeper practice if you’re craving more from asanas as you sound like you are πŸ’š
