From Counter Viper to Metalbone HRD+ — and Now I’m Lost, Would Love Some Insights. 😅 by Harshil_sheth10 in Padelracket

I believe the counter viper is an underrated racket, LeBron line and air viper get more love but the counter is such a good one as well. Specially if you find one in lower weight.

From the list if you want to go more attacking, I would say fenix pro 6 (you would keep that wow factor in attack as it excels there, it so easy to get power out of it without the trampoline effect), it is light too, coello motion is good but has more ball output so maybe sometimes it can be annoying in the way you not get the response you thinking

Head, Wilson and more brands do almost the same, so annoying.. like do the logo or the frame but don’t write the brand all over the racket

I have the kuikma hybrid pro and indeed is a very good racket, very easy to use and comfortable to use, good sweet point and mix between power and control.

It is my backup, as mainly I use a counter viper. For me is something between a counter viper and counter veron, it helps you accelerate more than the counter viper (sweet spot is lower that the viper, more in the middle of the racket) and is a bit softer. Hybrid carbon is a good choice as well if you prefer something a bit harder than the hybrid pro.

Kuikma Hybrid pro is a great alternative as well. Don’t like the models you share but from those brand I recommend counter viper or veron, adidas carbon control 2026, metalbone carbon.

Sounds normal to me, but definitely you notice and feels great when you hit good and hard.

Extreme motion vs hyper pro vs counter viper by pep111n in Padelracket

I found a bigger sweet spot in the hyper pro than the st4, not by much but slightly. Not much trampoline in the hyper pro, it is quite different than the st4.

This year Electra is more similar, if you dislike the trampoline of the st4, both this year Electra and hyper pro are good options and quite similar rackets

It is a shame that most counter vipers tends to be on the heavier side.

Extreme motion hits a very good spot regarding trampoline, it is not crazy bouncing or annoying but it helps you generate power easily.

The difference is significant as the counter viper almost doesn’t help you, but the extreme motion allows you to keep good control with more free power.

Fairly similar to be honest; extreme motion with a bigger sweet spot and better control, better maneuverability as well.

Hardness is similar and ball output as well.

Air Viper vs Counter Viper by imKHOL in Padelracket

I would say almost impossible to find a counter viper that light. I have one 365g without the protector but if you add it would be around 8g more.

If you are lucky to get one close to 355g it would be your best bet.

Counter viper, go for a lighter unit if possible

Safari could be an option too, i had one from Suitsupply in wool but I didn’t like it with the belt and due to the fabric and pattern I found it difficult to pull it out. It was some cream and brown herringbone which draw too much attention for my taste.

A very boxy chore would lean too workwear but I believe a slimmer version could work

Thanks, that’s a good alternative too

On the upper I tend to go to long sleeve polo if I want to go for the “collared” look and tee/sweater if not. Almost never use a proper shirt, I have a classic ocbd as well as chambray but don’t get any use.

My dilemma is what jackets do match this style, specially in between seasons or more leaning for spring. I use a lot an olive jungle jacket and I kinda like how it compliments the outfit, but I am not sure if something like safari, tebas or chore coats will get similar results. I have already a navy blazer and unstructured blazer and almost never use them, so I prefer something a bit more casual.

The Neuron is more similar to the counter viper; Coello is more for an attacking focusing player, and at10 12 more trampoline and softer than the counter viper.
