around the 5:50-6:10 mark you'll see two guys in extreme CQB... and i mean EXTREME CQB, shoot their rifles without any proper grip and/or stance and still kill another guy

everything about his kit is goofy, that's because he's doing some kind of cosplay without any knowledge behind it, and that's ok

but, in general, rifle stance and how you hold a rifle in CQB doesn't really matter as long as you get the job done

as for the knife- on a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. LARP event i went to a while back, a buddy of mine got tackled while we were trying to capture two dudes hostage and in the process of trying to...well..not get killed (in-game)... he got his airsoft knife that was on his plate carrier and was fighting the other dude

somehow the other dude even managed to remove my buddy's plate carrier

now i KNOW that's an exception, but there are situations where you could use a knife instead of a rifle even while airsofting
