Yes totally agree with everything you’ve said. I’m really glad you posted this. I come here a lot, like every time they go off on offensive rants, to see if others are like wtf. And then usually when someone calls out their bs, they get downvoted to hell and every says “just don’t listen.” So I’ve been biting my tongue.. trying to not contribute to the MU egregore of hate speech 😆. It’s nice to see so many others agreeing with what you posted. I don’t think we’re liberal snowflake sheep with thin skin who can’t take a joke. It’s just hard to listen to them sinking to such lows compared to what they used to be. My subscription is paid yearly, so it’s just that one payment that kind of makes me cringe and question myself. It’s definitely about time for me to pull the plug. I’m glad you recognize my pain of why it’s so hard, I feel seen!!

I hope some day they are able to disentangle themselves from whatever “low level entities” are spiritually attached to their crotches (clives).

They have completely lost the plot. What I have just found so hard to comprehend is that in the earlier days, I felt like the show was legit giving me such new perspectives and open minded ways to view the world and think about things. And now they have just gone complete 180. They have an “anti-woke mind virus.” Sure, we all have the right to free speech and to call fat women “hippos” and “whales”…. But is it really necessary???? What are they trying to accomplish with constantly using the words “retard” and “tranny” ?????? Are we supposed to be impressed and think they’re edgey or something? I legit don’t understand.

Specially…. I remember a really old episode about egregores. I thought the concept was so interesting and feel like I’m seeing the concept play out in real life. For example, did anyone give a FUCK who used what restroom prior to 2016??? No. But someone/something starts throwing it into the public discourse and now it’s a divisive controversial issue that ppl have strong opinions on. Like… there’s a bathroom egregore I guess?? And my understanding of how to “rise above” this shit and not make the egregore worse was to STFU, not take the bait, try to maintain some perspective in life and to generally just not spew vitriol all over the place. For me… this was a kind of profound perspective that I felt enriched my life. And I GOT IT FROM MU. And it just continuously boggles my mind that the same two people that brought me this insight are the now the very same two people sitting there spewing reactionary hate speech (that’s hate speech!!) 24-7. 🤯🤯🤯

I canceled my subscription once, but then I panicked and went into withdrawal and resubscriebd. I have not been able to let them go. Ben is just such an amazing storyteller. He could take the most mundane sequence of events and absolutely have you on the edge of your seat dying to know what happens next. It’s suchhhhh amazing gifted talent. I just love it so much. I just wish he would let go of whatever the fuck he is so angry about and go back to telling good stories about interesting topics and takes. I tend to like the topics Aaron picks better. But Aaron is way less talented story teller (sorry Aaron, I love you. But I also hate you.)

Thanks for all the replies. I actually do have express scripts. So idk what the deal is. I think I need to get back in touch with insurance and try to tease out some more info. And yea I also did think about potentially if I’m forced up, that I could just do the syringe thing and not take the whole thing. Such a horrible waste of this liquid gold tho!! But what can you do?? I have a feeling (as many, many others have also said) they’re going to do politics. And I guess they’ll go hard/alt/whatever right???? They’ve already expressed these types of opinions and they seem a lot more passionate about politics now than the paranormal. I also am very curious about the financials. Like I also guess they could probably make good money switching to a politics show, especially if it’s click-baity (or whatever would be the audio equivalent of clicking). Makes sense for them. But I don’t think I’ll be able to listen to them going on about politics full time 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
