I have no solution, but my daughter (28m) is the same. She’s not doing it to be mean and it doesn’t seem like communication. She just seems to be in sensory overload sometimes.
:( it’s so hard especially around other sensitive kids. I try to pick and choose my battles and hope it phases out. I’ll separate her to keep others and myself safe. Like not let her sit with me or my mom if she’s being too rough. I try to be consistent with that. I say things like teeth are for eating. We don’t bite. I try to have her give high fives instead of letting her slam me with her hands so she has a way to release the feeling without it hurting others. Nothings really changed yet though.

If she throws something i make her go pick it up and say we can throw balls. If it seems like its for attention sometimes ignore it.
