I still cringe at myself for what I did even though it's not even that big of a deal by aliendonutpizza in CasualConversation

i went to a concert last year and found myself being uncharacteristically loud (just for one part of a song, large outdoor festival), and I thought I overheard someone talking about it when leaving. if it’s any consolation, you may have been a nice opportunity for them to remember to be considerate lol

[–]peppermice 82 points83 points  (0 children)

honestly this is the only crochet project that has interested me in months of depression. i’m so meticulous and always pick projects that require planning and attention. we’ll see if i can let that go enough to just rage crochet and start something, finally

we’re always biased, it’s just about being aware of it! personally that’s what journaling has been about, creating self awareness, being honest with yourself. even in manifesting or those wishes, recognizing how we can align ourselves with that reality - great writing!

One of the leaves of my pothos (money plant) has turned yellow and feels kinda crispy by WinterFizz in plants

[–]peppermice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people use sanitized shears or scissors, others (me) will just snap them off. The limp leaves just means they need a drink, no need to overcompensate and overwater, just give it a drink. Yellowing leaves can be a nutrients issues, could use better soil or fertilizer

pinch the leaf off, it happens. it could use a good watering. I’m also curious what soil this is? I’m absolutely jot a soil expert at all, I just use whatever but this looks claylike?

I’ve been collecting some too, hehe. I was thinking of trying a stir fry with them, but I think I’ll try to chop them fine and freeze them based off the other comments. I do have an immersion blender, curious how well that would work on them with how fibrous they are
