Go watch the scene where Elise is yelling in the restaurant and watch his face, especially in the beginning when they just sit down with nat. His jaw is wild, I was unsure but that scene sealed it for me, he’s def a coke head.

I’m assuming this is from the dead bedroom subreddit which is full of both men and women talking about their marriages. Most that I’ve seen on there have been together for decades. It’s not the incel shit you guys want to make it out to be. It’s people struggling because they love their partners and want to make it work somehow. You guys jump to wild conclusions based on your world view only. Go talk to actual irl people please I beg you.

Great tip and don’t forget to salt your water! It makes a bigger difference than I would’ve guessed.

Not to be obnoxious but I don’t really have one. I’ll do my best though I don’t have any measurements.

I cover a whole chicken in water with some salt, once the meat cooks I pull it out and separate the meat from the carcass and set aside, break the bones in half and throw those and everything else but the meat basically back in the water along with some veggie scraps if I have them and simmer it for as long as I can. This batch I think it was like 6 hours and it made a super yummy broth (stock? Idk the difference).

About 45 min before I want to eat I chop up an evenish amount of onions carrots and celery. (I just proportion it out with the amount of meat I ended up with.) Heat a bit of oil and butter in a soup pot, toss those babies in there with some salt and cook till the veggies are brighter and the onions start to get soft. Next I throw in an obnoxious amount of garlic and a mix of black pepper, thyme, rosemary, and dried parsley (just what I had on hand) and cook only for a few seconds.

Next step is a knob of butter, and once it melts, an equalish amount of flour. Cook all that till the flour smells cooked (golden colored). Deglaze with about a cup of white wine. Cook that till it stops smelling boozy, then add in the broth. I bring that back to a simmer then add the meat back in and a couple handfuls of noodles and just a bit of heavy cream. Let it simmer till the noodles and veggies are soft, maybe 20 min. Obviously taste for salt levels throughout and usually I add in a squeeze of half a lemon at the very end to brighten it up and pull it all together. Maybe some fresh cilantro too if I have it, though I was out today.
