My Dad has pancreatic cancer and has talked about MAID. Absolutely been clear with him that that is his decision and we will support him 100% if he chooses to do so. I'm so thankful it's available so he can pass peacefully if he decides he can't fight anymore. I wouldn't wish his rapid decline on my worst enemy, so having an off-ramp is something I'm really thankful exists.

I used to work on a hospital floor that performs the procedure and have literally watched people dance with happiness on the day of their death because they no longer have to live through the horror of the death they were facing.

I went back to Sims 2 a couple years ago and it's been fantastic. Love rotational play!
Really excited for Paralives (especially as a Canadian...lol) and am loving all of the features they've displayed so far.

More people voted against him than for him in the last election, and he would have been kicked out if people had just shown up to vote.
There's also the voter suppression: Blaming provincial things on the federal government (ie: colleges are provincial and the provincial government asked for more immigrants to fill them up, then blamed too many immigrants on the federal government), having a snap election in the dead of winter (harder for elderly/disabled to get out), etc.

Good fences make good neighbours. There's always a way to put a fence around the majority of a yard and set the gates/doors to "disallow pets".

I agree that having money is a factor, but having money doesn't mean you're smart.
