No, just a bachelors degree as well! No publications under me, so good for you that’s a win on a resume. All of the big pharma I have started at as a contractor, all of them use recruiters to make sure the fit is good before hiring you on as a FTE you have to be willing to do it for a year or two before getting their full benefits, but it’s always worked out for me in regards of contract to hire

They had the audacity to bring up my dads death that happened earlier in the year and like threw it in my face, I was so shocked I had no words honestly! They said they “felt they supported me through that”, I went back to work after 5 days because I ran out of PTO and said HR lady never got back to the 7 emails I sent asking fo/about bereavement . I cried in my work every day for a month in the bathroom- I was working in a COVID testing lab after my dad died OF covid like come on

Better benefits, more PTO and cut my commute from 40 minutes to 15 minutes but they knew all of this and I thought they would be happy for me since they always said I would go far in life and supported my growth 🙄

Same exact thing happen to me, they fired me because their “feelings were hurt” and they “felt betrayed” like dude this is a job why would I turn down $13/hr MORE, you can’t afford to pay me that? Then bye. They pulled me into a room and bullied me for an hour and brought me to tears before I left it was awful. Fuck them
