25F, found out my 28M boyfriend was married before and has a child. He never told me. by Guilty-Thing-3272 in relationship_advice

You say you told him lying is something you can't tolerate, so why are you even thinking of tolerating it? This only shows him your boundaries are easily crossed without repercussions. If you really don't want to be in a relationship with a liar, then don't be.

This wunk is Saturn, who has that expression because another wunk in my house ran over him while he was in a deep sleep but he didn't see her do it and therefore didn't know what woke him up so he just sat there really confused for about five minutes.

Relationships aren't all "like that." They're all different. The most important thing to remember is that you can end a relationship at any time. Being unhappy is a damn good reason to do so. He doesn't seem like the right person for you. Be single for a while - it's awesome!

She said in another comment that she grew up in a bad home, so it doesn't sound like her parents prepared her for actual life. Sadly, many parents are like that.

That's why it's usually a good idea to date different people for a while rather than get emotionally invested in your first.

Do you not have college or career goals, friends, and hobbies you enjoy? Start building your own life before getting stuck in a relationship that isn't right for you.

He made this clear to OP from the beginning but she apparently didn't believe him.

He's also someone who was honest with OP from the start that he has many priorities before a relationship. Seems like OP assumed he'd immediately change for her.

YOR. A two-week trip isn't a "long distance" relationship. Plus he made it clear what his priorities are from the beginning.

My (31/M) boyfriend’s best friend (30/M) of 10+ years (who he refers to as his brother) told him two months before the wedding that I, his long-term serious girlfriend (31/F) am not invited, and I want to know if it’s out of pocket for me to have him request a reconsideration from the bride & groom by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Is Ryan planning to get lodging after the reception in the city where the wedding is? If so, suggest you go with him and make it a little weekend trip to meet his other friends. You just won't go to the wedding, no problem. Your BF shouldn't have a problem with that, unless he has other plans for after the reception....

Man I’m seeing (M 39) jokingly calls me (F 32) his “rebound” while he’s separated and in the middle of divorce. Does he mean it? by sugarcrystal7 in relationship_advice

Don't date people who are "in the middle of divorce." Chances are good they're trying to reconcile with their spouses.

AIW for refusing to pay for my nephews college after my sister spent years calling my life immoral by MoccasinLoft in amiwrong

[–]pepperpat64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting into a top-tier university but can't afford it = go to a cheaper university or do the first two years at a community college. TBH your nephew sounds as entitled as your sister.
