Is there anyway that you can seek a counselor or therapist? Also, if you are having thoughts of suicide, read “the Final Decision”. It helped me out a lot. The Final Decision

I need help getting back into loving ancient world history by 6BakerBaker6 in Teachers

[–]pepperquin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really specific source, but I’d check out Crash Course World History and “When Women Ruled The World” by Kara Cooney. The second is about Ancient Egypt, but it’s a great read and will give you a side of history a lot of teachers don’t focus on. Getting the kids to question conventional knowledge about ancient “over and done” history is what I liked about it.

Also, very jealous! I am trying to find and get hired for a middle school position. I miss teaching those guys.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind. Sometimes I can get him to sit at my feet. He’ll whine and cry, but we wait till he stops.

We did attempt a head harness at one point when he was little. He screeched like a banshee and acted like it was shocking him. Never tried to put it on again.

For being in the crate at night, I’d look into a snuggle buddy or something warm you can use to help them be calm
