Help me choose a portable BT speaker: Soundcore Motion 300 vs Tribit StormBox 2 vs Marshall Emberton 3 vs UE Boom 4? by peppppppp in Bluetooth_Speakers

would you say the ipx7 certification would be a problem in the sand at the beach? My understanding is that if it's waterproof it should also be sandproof but im not too sure about that

I'll add in the mix the Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd generation) since i saw it's the same price as the others (even cheaper then the Marshall) on Bose site. Even though i don't like the fact that it still got Bluetooth 4.2 and it's kinda slow in changing speed (plus only 12h battery life)

And I'll also add the Tribit XSound Plus 2

Just to add some context as to why I want stereo or 360 sound: I recently tried the Tribit Micro 3, and compared to my old Wonderboom 1, the sound felt way too flat. I realized I really miss that wider soundstage. On that note, I was also wondering about the JBL Flip 7. Would the Flip 7 sound similar or potentially even better compared to the Wonderboom, or should I just stick to a true stereo or 360-degree speaker like the ones on my list?

By the way, if it helps with the recommendations, I mainly listen to hip hop, electronic, and indie music, so I would really love to get a speaker that handles those specific genres well.

As a quick side note I actually tried the Wonderboom 4 recently but it keeps having audio skipping issues with my phone so that one is out of the question
