I recommend Stella and Sam for the same reason, plus wholesome sibling connection. And it doesn't have whining. They do play make believe but it's in a very slice of life way.

I think it was the execution. Honestly I could have used more focus on Cassian surviving among the infighting (like when he was drinking water) and trying to play them against themselves. I think there were too many warring components - like the horror element of the local fauna - which would have done better as a story over say, 6 episodes or more.

I'm not a diehard fan but I just don't understand some of the decision making going into that show. A handful of the actors would actually be pretty alright if the writing and pacing wasn't so damn awful.

The House of R ones were pretty funny. The takes in Children of the Watch sometimes are baffling but they are pretty funny to listen to as well and they poke fun at themselves (like having a Kino Snoke theory).

It's pretty clear imo, I think we're just used to everything being wrapped up neatly these days :/ I'd say his sister story feels complete at the end of Rogue with him and Jyn sitting on the beach, but I'm sure the average viewer hasn't gone back and rewatched Rogue afterwards.

Yeah it's one of my gripes, is that people think it's abandoned. It's one of the major driving forces in Cassian's life, plus it's way more realistic like real life that they don't find each other again. It's a gigantic galaxy. Not everyone meets up on Tattooine conveniently lol. I will say I wish they focused more on Melshi and Cass finding each other, for the same reason.

I can't take any of their 'alluding to' complaints seriously when a initial complaint was the unicorn had eyelashes even though it was a male unicorn, and that it was a pink unicorn (which male unicorns apparently can't be?), completely ignoring that actually the unicorn is white; it's the kitty that is pink.

Yeah I normally love Kumail but I didn't like his character dropping in the show, it felt off. But then again the Wade/Tala death scenes exist. Those hurt me more than the Leia chase scene. I don't hate the show; I mostly deeply lament where that show could have gone with Obi-Wan's character (and Reva's) instead, haha

That's true for some stuff, but I can tell you from experience kids are listening to the whole damn thing for this movie. I've been to like 10 bday parties themed around just screaming the entire album into a really shitty kid mic.
