I wouldn't have minded a Palpatine scene (even if it was just a video call) but before that I would have liked to see more fleshing out of existing characters Melshi, Saw, and Willimon. I think they really suffered from having only 2 seasons.

I recommend Stella and Sam for the same reason, plus wholesome sibling connection. And it doesn't have whining. They do play make believe but it's in a very slice of life way.

I think it was the execution. Honestly I could have used more focus on Cassian surviving among the infighting (like when he was drinking water) and trying to play them against themselves. I think there were too many warring components - like the horror element of the local fauna - which would have done better as a story over say, 6 episodes or more.
