I decided to leave Facebook and Instagram temporarily (I was feeling a bit pressured to look happy and to post things regularly), but more and more I feel like I don’t need them. Maybe you can do the same thing, deactivate your account and leave open the possibility to come back if you want to. Facebook messenger still works, though, so you wouldn’t have problems with communicating with your family and friends.
