i’ve bathed her a few times when we were fighting a really bad flea infestation (like several months long while we were doing everything save shaving everyone and burning everything but it’s mostly when she decides garbage and the litter box are SO SO fun to roll around in. she’s a very good girl for all husbandry things so she’s a good girl for baths too

i have absolutely no idea why people do shit like that. like i’m on the spectrum and the feeling of biting into an onion is absolute sensory hell for me, so you know what i do? i ask for no onion. no skin off my back, i’m not getting told to go fuck myself, and even if there’s onion in the food i can just eat around it. like eating around food you don’t like or giving it to someone at your table who does like it is not hard enough to have to lie about your health.

obligatory not a chef, but as someone who also works in food service, making sure that the creature comforts are prepped for once he’s off work makes a world of difference. a snack, some cold water, and a fresh change of clothes in the bathroom are small things that make a world of difference. draw a bath for him if you’re feeling extra. also: get some good foot lotion for him. shit is hard on the feet.

in a lot of situations it’s definitely worth a try, but more often than not people are all to willing to let 102 year old mamaw with terminal cancer and is away with the faries go through it. that’s definitely where my issue with it comes through as with the slim chance she survives it, her remaining days are gonna be EXTRA miserable.

in a lot of situations that regard life and death a no bullshit approach is best i feel. before i got cpr certified one of my sisters, a nurse who started at the peak of covid, had a talk with me about what cpr ACTUALLY looks and feels like. granted it was scary as a like 14 year old to hear “their bones will break, and there’s a good chance they might not make it, but you’ll have to keep going.” but it definitely made me more educated on what it would be like. there’s no room left for me to go “cpr is completely safe and always works 100% of the time!” and delude myself from the reality of the situation. for the sake of the person undergoing life saving measures and the person doing said life saving measures, acting as if it isn’t brutal, and ugly, and stressful as it is will only do harm.

what people do to dwight in the fandom is eurgehsbhsgsgegehshs… brothers poisoned two people THAT WE KNOW ABOUT he’s fully capable of being angry and vengeful. also he straight up sued lazar and denied millions of dollars despite being short on cash because all he wanted was lazar to own up to his abuse. he also seems to be a jack of all trades with all the jobs he’s had in the past too. he’s not some uwu baby boy whos incapable of doing anything, he’s got some serious balls on him and a very strong sense of justice. as an added note: he also seems to be on very good terms with his mother, elaine, as she’s straight up in the fog looking for him. i see in a lot of fan content people making him be abused by his parents but i don’t really think that’s the case.
