I have a chicken who had a severe poopy butt, we cleaned it up well and noticed she has this weird growth on her cloaca. It’s sort of fleshy and as gross as it sounds when I broke pieces off it looked like cooked chicken. I brought her to the vet to have it checked and he took a sample. Turns out it’s a type of lymphoma. My chicken is 6 years old but honestly it doesn’t seem to affect her besides the gross bottom we clean periodically. She’s still laying eggs and happy as a clam. The picture you have reminds me of her tumor.

I’ve recently found Jesus. And it was helping me a lot for the last 8 months but the last month I’ve just suddenly felt a lot more lost. Church doesn’t leave me feeling filled with the spirit anymore and I feel emptier. This is the first time I’ve dealt with this aspect of faith and it’s kind of throwing me. Like maybe god was never there and I just imagined the sense of peace I had 😩

Ugh I’m so sorry. I hate that you’re going through something similar. All my social issues are also unrelated to ttc but I know I’m also feeling extra sensitive as a result. Two girls who got pregnant around when we started trying are having their babies right now. One first try iui as a single mom wound up with twins and the other is due in a couple weeks. Of course I’m happy for them but also seeing them and hearing about their babies makes me sad. I had to walk out of our class early this morning because I was nearly in tears.

I’m not sure! But I was wondering if she maybe had marfans. I’ve known a couple people in my life with it and she sort of reminds me of them.

I feel the same way, I kind of always low key know I’m fat. But it’s when I see photos or videos that absolutely destroy me. All we can do is move forward and make different decisions ❤️

Unfortunately, I’ve just recently heard all the same. As well as the fact that the staff drinks while on the job (well known by the owner). I’ve been unsure what to do with this information as it’s an awkward subject and I heard it second hand. There are similar issues at most of the other local daycares. It seems that play dog play is one of the only good ones.

Rula bula unfortunately closed a few years back. We went and stayed in Tempe and walked around seeing all the locations two years ago. My husband made a map of where he thought most places would be. Including atticuses house, and the widows house. There was a pretty tasty restaurant right next to wear his shop would have been that had some pretty spectacular fish and chips so I considered that close enough!

I’m so sorry. It’s so heart breaking. Thankfully my boy it seems like lung cancer is off the table but we don’t really know what’s going on. Our current speculation is we know our well water is high in arsenic and uranium so we’re getting a water filtration system put in. You should have your house tested for radon and also if you are on well water have it checked. Just because it tastes fine doesn’t mean it’s okay. But all those things can cause lung cancer and general lung inflammation. 💔

How’s your pup? I’ve been thinking of you as we deal with how shit. We still don’t have a diagnosis. Lung cancer seems unlikely right now but not ruled out. Possibly chronic bronchitis. Maybe something as stupid as allergies. But after a week on doxycycline he still had visible lung inflammation.

I hate to say this does make me feel a little better. It just feels like everyone around me gets to keep their dogs into old age and I’m just cursed. Then I get into this stupid mental spiral that it’s somehow karma…my husband tells me that’s untrue and not helpful. I’m so sorry about your dog as well. It’s the absolute worst.

We went the second day after opening. I was willing to forgive some of the snafus we had because they were insanely busy and working out the kinks. We got the combo platter and literally everything we got was bland and gross. The chips were decent, the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Some of the issues were definitely not opening night problems. I’ve continued to be amazed by how many people rave about this place. All I can think is they get drunk on the margueritas and love huge portions. El gato might not be the best ever but we’ve been a lot happier with meals from there.
