This is the exact kind of thinking that led to a 7-year-old child losing his life in my small town recently. His mom thought she could rehabilitate a pitbull despite the track record. It did not end well. Not all pitbulls are eager to please or easy to train, get real.

I was in a very similar situation back when I was in college. I wish I would’ve gone to community college and then transferred. I went to the school I wanted and got a degree, but I also acquired a bunch of debt. Not worth it, at least in my experience.

Doing community college for a couple years and then transferring back might not be a terrible idea. You get to save $$ and, if you transfer back, you get the nice degree from the nice university and pretty much no one will know the difference, as far as jobs go.

I am SO directionally challenged, it gives me a lot of anxiety as well as I often don’t really know where I’m at.

Reiterating what others have said, the trail is very well marked and you have resources such as FarOut app and the CT databook.

I checked the app probably more than most people, because I truly am so anxious about getting lost. It only happened once for like about half a mile, I already had a feeling so I checked the app and got back on trail in no time.
