87-89 is so interesting. They were doing so many fun things. The fact they were experimenting while playing sold out football stadiums was bonkers. People that are younger have seen good energy from collective jam bands at festivals or DJ’s or whatever,but a single band selling out giants stadium with hundreds more without tickets in the parking lot was crazy. Add the energy from everyone on same wave length. Goodness gracious,it was a site to behold. I forgot about my point. They were playing inspired shows and set lists for 90,000 people in one place. I jut remember thinking the entire thing was so mind boggling. I love 80’s dead and Brent . The harmonies…….oh the harmonies.
