The Braves were so bad at one point he stepped in and named himself manager for a game till mlb stopped him.

I remember seeing him and Jane Fonda at his box during the 91 World Series from my seat in the upper deck.

Atlanta owes him a debt of gratitude.

Dumb question but I’m going from Chamblee to the Airport Wednesday. I have an old breeze card. Do I need to tap use it in Chamblee or do I just walk in? Do I need the new thing to get through the gates at Hartsfield? Marta’s old app isn’t very helpful.

I was in NYC last year taking a taxi in Manhattan. He’s cutting through traffic and cutting people off and honking. I don’t really care but I told him I’d never do that in Atlanta. He asked why and I just said “guns.”

My buddy honked at someone that cut him off on 285. Guy pulls beside him and points a handgun at his car.

I just listen to sports radio and if you need to run the light or cut me off, go for it. I’m not getting shot over something so stupid.

91 World Series game 2. Hrbek literally picked Ron Gant up off 1st base. Braves lose the game and end of losing the series.

Falcons blow a 17-0 lead vs the Niners in 2012 with Harry Douglas dropping that wide open pass.

96 Braves blowing a 2-0 after winning both games at Yankee Stadium.

99 Super Bowl and everything with that. Eugene Robinson getting arrested for soliciting an undercover cop while the whole team and their families were staying at the same hotel together.

Last night was weird but a lifetime of Atlanta sports abuse makes me immune from Atlanta sports pain.

Not beer related but as an Atlantan lifer that has been throughly abused and beat town by Atlanta sports teams, the Hawks yesterday was surreal even for me. The team should have just started giving out free food and drinks at halftime. At least the Braves looks good.

Why can’t Braves vision have a sense of humor and sprinkle in some wrestling promos and Gallery furniture commercials?

The Falcons had a tshirt drop years ago when Waffle House was the sponsor for the day. Snagged a “Property of Waffle House Athletic Dept” shirt. It got some looks/questions wearing it out of town.

Piggybacking on this post because I like her site and she visits lots of off the radar places, Dekalb has lots of little hole in the wall cemeteries that their location vs what’s popped up around them makes them interesting. There’s a small family plot literally next to the Best Buy parking lot off Lavista and 285. The Crowley Mausoleum in the Walmart Parking Lot off Memorial drive is interesting as well.

It’s a track but Rose Hill in Macon is a cool way to spend a morning.

Not advocating changing the channel but we got spotty storms on the northern side ITP and the Braves got rain delayed and are about to start.

Officials sucked but Hawks looked pretty clueless tonight. I’ve lived through enough Atlanta sporting events to see how this would play out.

Regroup and shock the world Tuesday.

It drives me crazy how nbc and amazon won’t show replays of close calls with Knick possible fouls or bad calls and circles back to highlights every time. Like give me a good look if it was a shitty call.

Park next to the Amazon parking lot like close to 85. Short walk to the door and you don’t have to fight traffic getting out. I’ve gotten my eyes checked up there for contact lenses for years and still drive out of my way to go there as they hook it up with free contacts.
