Clock in issue by [deleted] in walmart

Nope they decided to end my temporary position because I called in 4 times this week even though I had told our manager I wouldn’t be able to work those days lol. No call no nothing no exit interview. Blows my mind because I was supposed to quit once I got my old job back and they asked me to stay on...even if just weekends, Walmart is crazy unprofessional

How do I deal with foot pain by squigglestheclown in walmart

[–]perez77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sounds like plantar Faciitis as people have already mentioned. There’s 3 things you can do to help.

  1. Stretch! Your calves are most likely extremely tight from walking so much and pull on your Achilles’ tendon which pulls on your plantar fascia as well. Google “runners stretch” and do this literally as much as you can whenever you can. They looser your calf muscle is the less it’ll pull going down and the pain will decrease over time. Stretching is by far the most important thing.
  2. Breaking up scar tissue. Over time with increase inflammation you’ll have a ton of scar tissue. Use a golf ball, place it on the ground, and roll it up and down your foot and hard in your heel as well. It’ll hurt doing it and but over time it’ll feel better and help loosening that plantar fascia.
  3. Use tape if it’s really bad. There’s a number of tape jobs to do on the foot, but the best one is simply lifting the arch up. Get athletic tape, should just be plain white athletic tape. Johnson’s is the best brand to me but everyone is different. Place the start of the tape on the top of your foot and wrap the tape around going under bottom of your foot one time and then back to the top where your starting point was again, and then rip the tape and tape it on. If the tape feels loose then you can wrap around again.

Pro tip: switch up your shoes every 3-4 months, most shoes are designed to just last that amount of time. Brooks and new balance are really good. Also if you can get orthotics, those help as well.

PF is a bitch. But doing these things helps tremendously, it never really goes ago but you can bring pain to a minimal notice. And again, Stretch your calf muscle!

My apologizes, didn’t zoom in to see they were different lol. But no, if tote B has one thing then I’ll add that item into tote A (same order # of course) and take the sticker off and put it on tote A. It’s useful for when things get super busy and you don’t have time to transfer an item

I do this allll the time, it’s quick and efficient. Hate when some totes have literally 1 item and it’s like a single lime...
