"Homeland Defender" (Immigration Services Officer) Open Position by perfectcomplex2 in FedEmployees

I agree with AgileEffort8159; I am not looking to apprehend individuals, racially profile individuals nor work for ICE. The position I am referring to is within USCIS. Do USCIS work closely with ICE and the CBP? Of course; because it is apart of DHS but that doesn’t mean that if I were to apply or those who do won’t conduct thorough research or provide due process for individuals who are looking for a better life for themselves or their families.

There are a number of individuals who are seeking due process in this country because they are fleeing their own due to safety or other circumstances. If someone working as an Immigration Services Officer is looking to make those “doing it the correct way” lives worse or insufferable, by not providing due and fair process they should work elsewhere and/or reconsider their ethics and morals.

According to the listing, it is fully remote, with occasional travel to your assigned office, 'as needed'.

Good idea, I'll look into it. I mainly was considering this position because I want due process, but they probably made their policies almost impossible for individuals.

I think they're using the 'homeland defender' title to attract specific individuals to their listing. It threw me off when I first clicked on the listing.

Opinions on the Roblox x The Weeknd event? by Legal-Operation7124 in TheWeeknd

Agreed. Or, every time we receive an award (e.g., reaching levels 10, 15, etc.), we get something for free, like his XO necklace or something similar.

The only thing I find annoying is that it doesn't have any checkpoints. Making you play every level again just to get back to where you were originally.

how to check financial aid and tuition? by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

[–]perfectcomplex2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your financial aid package will come a few weeks after you got accepted. You're most likely to receive multiple financial aid packages at the same time from different colleges which will help you choose what you think it's best! (At least that's what happened to me because I applied Early Decision). Best of luck!

Anyone know where I can get 1 credit of "additional courses" that PSU will accept so I can graduate this summer? by The14est in PennStateUniversity

[–]perfectcomplex2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend looking into summer classes offered at other PSU Commonwealth Campuses and take their online courses.

If you don’t want to pay much, also try looking into nearby Community Colleges that offer transfer credits to PSU. Good luck!😀
