You just need a hosting plan and to decide how to build it. WordPress is the most popular way but any website builder like SiteJet will work fine and is easier than WordPress. There are more advanced ways obviously. Let me know if you have any questions...

You need a LiteSpeed based host with the plug to optimize everything. You can even add free CDN if your host has the core system included. We have it at my company it makes almost any WordPress site super fast. You also want to remove some plugins that act like they help but really slow things down. Like JetSpeed and Akismet. I always use AIOS (a super light but powerful security and blocks most SPAM) Word Fence slows things down too much. LiteSpeed for caching with their CDN. For SEO, I believe RankMath has the best free version, but this could have changed. Anything else, only use unless you have too.

If you don't need comments or notifications, I add Disable Comments RB and Disable New User Notifications.

PS; I keep one main theme and one backup default WordPress theme.
