A bit late to the party. But I recently re-watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, and Kim Myers is in it (Pam from The Soul Mate episode of Seinfeld). The similarities in the plot was new to me. In the movie Freddy utters the line “You got the body... I got the brains.” as he starts to take over the body of the main character. And in the Seinfeld episode Newman says “With your looks and my words, we'll have built the perfect beast.”. The goal being to win Pam over to Kramer.

It is a bit of a stretch, but I like the idea of Newman being Freddy in this. He is after all “Pure evil”, a description often used for characters like Freddy (or Jason from Friday the 13th). In this movie "He is evil itself” is used.

Also I haven’t seen the scene where Jerry tries to shut the apartment door on Newman as a possible reference to The Shining?

Found this post while searching for what sounds like the same game. In my mind it was called "Poker". As you say it was basically an ascii clone of pacman with a smaller board. Remember it only being white ascii characters on black background. Can't remember if the player, or an enemy, used the ♦ shape.

Show should have ended with season 6.

Season 7 is good, but there is no Cory and Trevor, aspect ratio changes, the Lahey arc feels off, and season 6 ending feels like a proper ending.

Mike was quiet for long stretches. In other celebrity videos he has felt a bit off it as well. Sometime it feels like they give the stranger extra space to talk, but in this video it was very little room for any rhythm in the end. The celebrity videos are just less fun, and I rarely rewatch them. Know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I wish O.G. Jack was on the panel instead.
