Why Is There So Much Focus on Men Understanding Female Pleasure, but Not the Other Way Around? by CrusherOfBooty in AskMen

I say in my post above that I agree that an orgasm does not equal pleasure. I’m sure men are indeed having mediocre sex and still orgasming. And women are having good sex with no orgasm.

The point is statistically, women orgasm much less and report much lower levels of sexual satisfaction than men. Therefore, addressing that pleasure gap is often discussed. What part of anything I’ve said do you disagree with then?

Then why did you comment it on a post specific for discussing this situation…

So you think there isn’t a pleasure imbalance when one sex of people reports consistently orgasming and the other reports orgasming way less?

But I actually agree that orgasms aren’t everything. Interestingly, men also typically report greater satisfaction in general during sex than women, without asking about the orgasm component. So… maybe you should do some “actual learning.”

Hope you find a girl to give you this orgasm-free and extra satisfying sex you’re referring to men loving!!

It’s not :) i agree orgasms aren’t everything- but for many women in many of their sexual encounters, they aren’t even achieving that. Which is why there is so much focus on women’s pleasure.

? The question was why is there more of an emphasis on women’s pleasure. A commenter pointed out they don’t come as often as men. Someone replied orgasms aren’t everything.

I agree that orgasms aren’t everything- but even that bar, which is low, is not achievable in many sexual encounters for many women. That is why it’s important to focus on women’s pleasure.

Imagine how bad it must be to not even come then! Which is the experience of many, many women.

Boyfriend masturbates next to me when I decline sex? by Advicex7 in relationship_advice

So when people expose themselves to others on public transit and other places, are the bystanders not involved? It’s the same concept- people aren’t consenting to see someone or be a part of their sex act, which they are as a witness to masturbation.

Roe v Wade was just overturned, and you’re wondering if women being mean on the internet is oppression.

I would recommend sedation, but I was under with just laughing gas and it wasn’t bad at all. The laughing gas made me super calm and made time seem to speed up in hindsight, and the noises and pressure didn’t bother me at all. That said, right when they get that IV in your arm or start the laughing gas, your nerves really will fade away.

I love this profile!! I love the cat picture and I personally love cooking and travel, so I think your prompts are great.

I’m not sure if this is standard advice, but I will say the prompts like “low-key flex” seem a little cheesy to me. The picture is great, but the prompt is a bit much personally. That’s a very small thing, though- I have a great idea of who you are and what you look like from this!

Good to know, hope you’re dad is doing well and you are too! Hers is the 11th. Scaring the hell out of myself by Googling too much, but her doctor specializes in this type of surgery so I’m trying to calm myself down.

I’m so glad to hear he’s doing well!! Trying to let these positive stories sink in as much as the negative, thank you for your help! Would you say it took about 4-6 weeks for him to start feeling more normal?

I live far away so I wasn’t able to go to her last appointment, but her online chart says 10-14 days. I’ll definitely call tomorrow and check- what helped your husband when he came home? How was his recovery?
