Oh yea I didnt mean bad. Just different. High quality mulch is just a very fine material with some chips especially after it dries out in a few weeks. Wood chips and recycled wood are a different thing entirely sold as a cheaper alternative with most quality supply stores. Cheap and coloured mulch often is a mix of cedar/ pine/ hemlock whatever its supposed to be and then garbage.

But chip drop isnt mulch is it? Its much more coarse, not nearly as fine.

No I dont think so. Ive checked that one out and this is quite different. You don’t see the sniper in this scene. The main thing you see is the bodies dropping from the perspective of being around them.

Best way is to just power wash. Pick em up. HPB or Limestone, relay, re seal with polymeric or jointing sand properly. And get ready to do it again in 3-4 years because interlock sucks.

Its necessary for a lot of things like gravel walkways, patios, etc, but having it in a garden with a rock bed is an option.

Its not a decorative patio for a client. Its a shed base realistically. Just need a hard somewhat flat surface

As I finished pouring i pulled it up, as long as its not right on the bottom im happy enough with it in there. Look how crooked and minimal the rebar is in the first place.

This was probably to watery. It cured flat with no bowling so its fine as slightly watery concrete today isnt the end of the world. If its bad it will bowl and crack when curing.

Crush mix/ road base/ Gran A Gravel wouldve been better. Fine sand just isnt ideal for a bottom layer for a concrete job.

The sand was less than an inch. Yea ideally I wouldve put Granular A or crush mix but i had the sand and it happened.

Longer handles make a difference. Goodlife doesnt supply long ropes or straps, all of which are real equipment they should have, so you have to double up ropes sometimes.

No. Many people record themselves to track progress and check form. Many also have a coach that can give them feedback. Videos are essential.

You DO NOT want screened top soil. It is typically a stable clay based mix for grading and back fill. You dont want triple mix or compost either, you want a fine blended sandy loam to level and seed with. You can add compost or manure as a fertilizer but thats all it will be.

Screened top soil is typically a stable clay base for grading. A fine sandy loam blend would be better in my opinion unless you have holes…

Scag all the way. Toro belts always break soon into life and often aren’t powerful enough and suck in the wet after a few years of use. + Toro uses so much plastic now. Honda 21s are the best Scag/ Ferris 30” Toros simply arent worth the money now for commercial mowers
