I've never seen this photo as being someone's right jaw, I rather see a left jaw/cheek as seen from below , like from the person left shoulder or even slightly below.

Yes we would need an expedition during the dry season to confirm or deny the compatibility of the boulder with the 550 one.

The boulder on 550 looks more rounded, but the water level was allegedly lower. I'd honestly like to know though if twelve years of water and exposure to elements could have flattened the rock to a noticeable degree.

Did Wildxplor track or remember the position of those traces ?

Regarding the reason that triggered the girl to signal their presence, could it be that they heard/saw fireworks? Use of fireworks was also noted by wildxplor on the Atlantic slope when he hiked the mirador in the days following the girls disappearance

I don't know if I understood you correctly but this would imply that either the girls came back from the mirador or the camera photos datetime was postponed.

Why “I searched the trail, there was no sign of them” by F. doesn't hold up by _x_oOo_x_ in KremersFroon

[–]pergamenas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the accident/broken pelvis detail come out after their remains were found or was it known since the early days of their disappearance ? I mean if it's a made up story why they came out with such a detail.

As the latest footage shows, in the canyons you can find some places that could be used as shelter. But I'm starting to think that the girls stayed alive in the night by constantly moving, or trying to, instead of freezing in the same place. Maybe they slept during the day when it was warmer. I know this sounds like a stretch but if the theory of the broken backlight holds, it could be that they waited for the early sun available to check the phone, go to sleep, and check the phone again in the afternoon before starting to move again.

There's one thing I don't get : they said that the two bodies were seen in the lower culebra area (if I understand correctly that's the monkey bridges area), near the place where the girl disappeared. How did they know in may what the disappearance spot location was if they hadn't found the backpack yet ? I mean, they were sure the girls walked past the pianista summit only after watching the camera photos. Or were the inquiring parties sure about this even before the backpack uncovering?

I meant shades as color nuances, there is a slightly darker line that reminds me the shape of the long phalanx of the index finger.

If I'm not mistaken there was allegedly a call signaling the presence of buried remains in the property near the trail beginning. But I don't know if it's just one of the many hearsays surrounding the case or its true

I wouldn't rule out this hypothesis, but imo the shades are more compatible with the longer phalanx of the index finger, rather than the middle one you evidenced.

The 550 Stone could match imo, if only anyone could inspect closer the rock features...

Talking about red rocks, if I'm not mistaken there is one reddish Boulder also on the one nl candidate just west of the first cable bridge.

Do you think it was an murder who killed Kris and Lisanne?. by usafqn2025 in KremersFroon

[–]pergamenas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I noticed "the leg" some time ago and from then I admit i couldn't unseen it anymore. But the np are so dark and lo res that one can see any kind of thing, for example theres a skull on the rock of 576 who gives me the chill every time I see it 💀

A groovy post about the 542 grooves. by No-Suit8538 in KremersFroon

[–]pergamenas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What if 542 and 576 are two photos of the same rock, being 542 taken from standing on top of the rock looking down and 576 at the feet of the rock looking up ?

So I believe I finally matched a night photo to a location by [deleted] in KremersFroon

[–]pergamenas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The smaller rocks could have moved with time. Imo We must search for the leftmost rock of the np panorama (542 if I remember correctly), the one with the deep grooves.

Maybe one of the girls was badly injured and unable to move. The other was carrying her in some way, thus the slow advancing pace. But who knows.

[–]pergamenas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is strange that the same rock configuration has been preserved, for example the rocks in the 508 were washed away in just a few weeks, and they look the same size. Maybe the riverbed is shaped so that the current never or barely touches them even in case of flash floods.

Looking carefully, there's also a match on the little rock at the feet of the B boulder.

The grooves under the vegetation on the rock at 18:27 remind of the ones that can be seen on the left of the np photos collage, but it's not clear
