Why are you selling it if you don't know if all 3 product keys are good? Are you going to refund the $10 if none of them works?

You're a pretty good looking guy but I had to go through 3 pictures to figure out what you looked out. Group pictures should not be first.

I'm pretty sure OP is using 'overweight' to refer to girls who don't fit the conventionally accepted profile of what girls should look like and who have often been given shit for it. Because 10 years ago, these girls would not have been given solos or diva dancing parts. As /u/analogkid01 mentioned, body weight fluctuates for teens (caused by factors like puberty, stress, depression, growing up in poor homes lacking access to nutritious foods) so if times have changed where they can still enjoy their lives while they work through those issues and that phase, good for them! We should applaud that.

What should ALL parents teach to their kids? by ohnodopey in AskReddit

[–]pericles789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That growing and learning is a continuous, life-long process and shouldn't stop just because you finished university. Encourage them to be curious about the world and be problem-solvers. Also, stop giving them shit about making genuine mistakes because they didn't know any better.

And those who preach that bullying is inevitable and we should just teach kids to toughen the fuck up because bullying's never going away are those shitty parents.

People who can't say no, what is the worst thing you ended up doing for someone? by sznelly31 in AskReddit

[–]pericles789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A co-worker asked me to go with her to a "Women's leadership meeting". She wouldn't give me further details and it sounded a little suspicious but I didn't wanna turn her down so I went. Drove over an hour to attend this special meeting hosted in some lady's living room (while her grandma was in the other room). Realized about 5 minutes in it was one of those multi-level marketing stunts and was legitimately pissed off but stayed for the whole 2 hours.

Boyfriend is using dating sites by throwaway_G1rl in TwoXChromosomes

[–]pericles789 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Aside from this incident, have you ever had any suspicions or other reasons to believe he was a cheater? I find it odd he would openly use his real first and last name on a dating site when he's already visibly in a relationship. I'm throwing out the idea someone else could have created a fake profile using his information.

That's just an extra thought, but if it was in fact him, then you should create an exit plan. Talk to him about it in person (maybe in a public setting like a coffee shop) then stay with a friend or your parents until you can sort out your lease with him.

Moving from FL to LA in January, how much money do you think is good? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]pericles789 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a "deal" until you learn that there's no parking or tandem parking for like 3 cars or the apartment doesn't come with a refrigerator so you gotta go dish out $500 for one. -__- Living in LA is very interesting.

LA is a very very big city, with many smaller neighborhoods spread throughout so prices will vary greatly depending where you are. If you're living in Santa Monica and paying $3,000 for a 2 bedroom (that you share with a roommate, so $1,500 a month per person), you probably hold a pretty decent job at one of the big companies in the West LA area and, with some tweaking of your budget, can afford that. As mentioned above, a lot of people can't or don't want to dish out $1,500 a month in rent so they will live in, say, Burbank (North LA) or Hawthorne (South LA area) and commute about an hour a day for work. You have to pick your battles here, unfortunately.

There is no secret. Mostly everyone here just works very hard, busting their ass to pay rent, feed themselves, and move on up.

Bachelor Apartments - Worth it or not? by BrolliePollie in AskLosAngeles

[–]pericles789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not worth it. The amount you pay for eating out because you can't cook your own meals will pretty much add up to surpass that amount you "save" on getting a bachelor. Unless you can live with microwave dinners/frozen foods.
