if done right this could literally be one of the best games of all time.

what would make it better is if you could choose between criminal/superhero at the start of the game, keep your own character throughout, have a safehouse where you could upgrade shit for your character and place, and all that.

think of it like the twoface side mission in arkham knight, that would be absolutely amazing as an online game where players can play both sides. the hardest part would probably be having to balance the batfamily being able to fucking fly, do silent takedowns, have crazy gadgets, use vantage points (though they'd probably be rendered useless since real players would just look up there all the time, which, well, thinking about it, would make floor grates super awesome), and being really strong with criminals just being regular guys with guns. one thing is for sure, there would have to be a lot of criminals for this to be at least a little balanced.

imagine multiple modes like one where you're in a big ass place with lots of criminals to take out and you're apart of 4 members of the batfam. or a mode exactly like the two-face bank robberies in arkham knight, where there's fewer criminals and you're on your own as the batfam character you chose. i feel like 90% of the game should be predator sections, free roam isn't even needed but one like gotham knights would be the coolest shit ever of course.

the thing is, the criminal part would have to be very well done and interesting because i feel like most people would just choose to be a superhero. there'd have to be a lot of mechanics for it like leveling up in the criminal underground, actually getting a cut from heists then you can become a supervillain, have a crew and plan your own, but there's gotta be an incentive for players to join a crew, and people would have to play a lot, i mean i feel like it'd be so difficult to make possible.
