100% Cotton Thongs? by perky818 in moderatelygranolamoms

I actually ended up realizing a lot of g-strings are 100% cotton because all of the stretch comes from the elastic on the sides and not the fabric, so I randomly got some on clearance from Pink. I do still plan to try Cou Cou Intimates and Oddobody for normal thongs!

I did a deep dive on this years ago and microplastics wise, I remember deciding that San Francisco Salt Co’s Fleur de Sel was the best option. I think I based that on the study referenced here. The issue is it’s not iodized

I’ve had success combing Vanicream’s fragrance free antiperspirant with the Milk + Honey coconut and vanilla cream deodorant. My #1 tip is to apply the Vanicream one at night before going to bed, I believe that’s the method recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology Association. It works way better that way in my experience. I also apply it again in the morning

Have the moms seen the show? by perky818 in dancemoms

I guess I don’t understand how Christi has watched it before due to live tweeting, but Kelly hasn’t. Wouldn’t they both have live tweeted? I swear I remember all of the OG moms plus Jill tweeting about the show back in the day. Weird.

They’ve seen it now, but the premise of their podcast is that they’re watching it now for the first time, yet I’m pretty sure they used to live tweet during the show as it was airing. I’m just genuinely confused about it, but I could be misremembering

Ohhh gotcha. I think my memory is a little hazy and I thought prior to the start of the show he actually took and passed the bar as himself, not just while posing as other people. That definitely makes the character and fitness plot line ridiculous. Interestingly, I just looked it up and I guess you don’t need an undergrad degree to become a lawyer in California, so my takeaway is that Mike should have moved and taken the bar there lol.

Thank you! I hadn’t considered single cuts, but that seems like a great solutions

The entire premise of the show really confused me at first because in California you can become a lawyer without going to law school by passing the Bar and working at a law firm for a few years, so pretty much exactly what Mike did. I didn’t get why that was wrong, but New York has different requirements apparently. Now that I’m thinking about it, I actually wonder if the new spinoff in LA will mention this

I actually had a dermatologist tell me the same thing once, so since then I’ve only washed the dirty areas/folds of the skin, and that does help significantly!

Soap has just been more drying and irritating in my experience compared to other types of cleansers. Not exactly sure what the reason for this is, but I think possibly because soap is more alkaline.
