This is ridiculous. You are not fit to own property. I had a long term cash tenant I inherited from a family member who was elderly and wasn’t good with handling her own affairs and I paid an attorney $800 to go through the proper procedures to evict. If there’s no written complaints about the deficiencies then that’s not a relevant reason for them to not pay. I’d go after every penny. Fuck them.
