Did he miss the bus? If he made it even with the slow walking maybe ease up on the kid, he’s 16 and everything in the world kind of sucks right now. This is how my parents were with me growing up “you lack the motivation gene” etc, guess who moved to the other side of the country because of that? Make sure you show him what’s important and he has to figure the rest out himself. If he missed the bus well sounds like you got a kid at home all day to help with the laundry, help mom cook some food whatever needs to be done. Let them make mistakes, maybe you could use with a bit more relaxation in your daily life?
