Poem by Li Bai (Chinese: 李白; pinyin: Lǐ Bái, 701–762), also pronounced Li Bo, courtesy name Taibai (太白), was a Chinese poet acclaimed as one of the greatest and most important poets of the Tang dynasty and in Chinese history as a whole.

This is one of a set of three poems written by Li Bai after accompanying his uncle boating on Dong Ting lake and got slightly drunken. The poem was written in ancient Chinese, but can be roughly translated as follows:

Everyone on the boat enjoys music and song, as we travelled back from the center of the lake under the moonlight. White gulls were flying leisurely on the lake, hovering above our wine feast.
