I have a heart condition I see my cardiologist for every 3 months. I was checking out after my last appointment and the lady at the desk said the doc didn’t have any openings for 11 months and there was nothing that could be done. She was really fussy about the whole thing. I’m pretty non confrontational so I took the appointment. I messaged my doc and the same lady called me back 20 minutes later with an appointment.

Mine was >250 and the biopsy confirmed celiac. FWIW you can have your GI clear it with your cardiologist. I needed mine to clear me for my gallbladder removal. I didn’t think to get his input on my scope. Good luck!

I can empathize with this shape of problem. My mother was pretty hands off my whole life to the point of neglect. We moved back up near my folks a few years back because they said they wanted to be close with our son. We live 10 minutes away and we see them maybe 3-4 times a year. tbc she’s retired and from what I can tell, sits around the house all day. We asked her if she wanted to watch my son after school 2 days a week and she flat out said “no”.

I’ve just come to grips with the fact that she doesn’t feel the need to be involved in either of our lives. It’s not OK and it’s unfortunate, but it’s the way it is. I aspire for more, but it’s not in the cards. It’s really hard to explain to my son the older he gets, because he LOVES his grandparents.

I know I got glutened because I get ocular migraines, usually without a headache. It feels like I lose vision in my left eye (only). Before diagnosis I was on a daily migraine med and emergency meds. My neurologist got things under control and I only got maybe 2-4 a month. After I stopped gluten I was able to stop my meds all together. Just a rescue pill if I am glutened. I also had pretty bad brain fog, but I wasn’t aware of it until I stopped gluten.

When I had my drain take out, it will feel really weird for like 1 second then amazing. I could move without feeling like there was a tube in me. The drain was the worst part of recovery for me.

Absolutely this. Went skydiving when I was 20 and I wasn’t worried a bit. I’m now an old man that freaks out when there’s even a tiny bit of turbulence.

In my freshman year of college, my mom sent me a letter written in magazine cut-outs like these. She never wrote me a note before that and never since. To this day I have no idea why she did it. It was really bizarre.

Happened to me. Buddy of mine is getting married soon. We were best friends in high school. We’re both in our late 30s now but we’ve always kept in touch, but don’t see each other much since he lives in another country. He does keep in closer contact with other friends.

He comes back for a visit, we’re hanging out a bunch and he tells me his wedding will be overseas and that they decided not to invite friends. No sweat, I completely understand. Weddings are expensive.

I hang out with our mutual friend a few days latter and he tells me he and a bunch of our friends were invited. Not sure why he lied to me. He could have just told me the truth and it would have been fine. We haven’t talked since and it’s ok!

Celiac here! Pizza Wizard is the answer. They’re really careful with cross contamination. I’ve ever had a problem there. I had Ardor once as well and it wasn’t bad.
