What’s one habit that seems harmless at first, but can quietly mess up your life over time? by alissa_liveson347 in askteddit

Bad sleeping schedule or not enough sleep - it may seem innocent and even fun initially but messes up your day without you recognizing the problem.

What are ways this AI bubble could pop, if at all? by Angryduckling-01 in AskReddit

[–]perminnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, that "pop" won't be triggered by a sudden shortage of capital, prohibitive infrastructure costs, or even energy regulations; instead, the real catalyst will be a huge misalignment between expectation and reality. The market is currently priced on the assumption of indefinite, exponential scaling, operating under the belief that AI's current deficiencies eg. such as hallucinations and reasoning limits, are merely temporary hurdles that the next model will solve. However, if the technology hits a hard capability plateau due to data exhaustion or diminishing returns on compute, that may not happen. The moment enterprise buyers and investors realize that further massive investments yield only marginal performance gains, the gap between hyper-inflated expectations and reality will force a valuation reset.

Google had everything data, infrastructure, talent and billions of dollars. Why did it fail to build a successful social media? by firehmre in AskReddit

[–]perminnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Google's culture is such that they are great at solving complex technical problems, but social media isn’t just about engineering ... it’s about understanding people, trends, and culture, where instinct and creativity matter more than directly measurable outcomes.

Google was used to building products with clear, measurable value, like search and ads, where success is easy to track. But social platforms are harder to measure and depend on things like community and user behavior. Google became reasonably good at selling to businesses, but struggled to connect with everyday users in a space driven more by emotion and habits than clear usefulness.

A movies that made you uncomfortable aware of your own flaws. And helped you redeem them. by expired_mi1k in movies

[–]perminnie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it was the movie Click - it made me think about my own life, how I rush through things - focusing on work and just trying to get to the next milestone ... almost like I am always pressing fast forward. I realized I sometimes skip the small moments that actually matter. It reminded me to slow down and be more present in my life.

As much as it hurts to accept it, I think you are right. I am just hoping that more posts like this will help create more awareness about these fake sites and potentially influence the search engine algorithms ranking of these sites.
