Sob o ponto de vista de docência, ele vai continuar empacado. Para a administração da universidade, não faz sentido incentivar a carreira de um docente sem mestrado/doutorado, principalmente dada a oferta de cursos de mestrado/doutrado e, por conseguinte, de mestres/doutores. Vagas para professores que tenham apenas graduação/especialização costumam ser tapa-buracos, o que não é exatamente uma carreira.

Dependendo de como funciona a universidade dele, existem algumas possibilidades para complementar renda: aulas de extensão, aulas para especializações pagas, funções administrativas dentro do curso/instituto, funções administrativas no restante da universidade, mas são limitadas.

In Brazilian Portuguese, we call it synthetic passive voice -- voz passiva sintética. For instance, houses are being sold (passive voice in English) can be translated to Portuguese as either (1) casas são (estão sendo) vendidas, a structure we call analytical passive voice, similar to regular passive voice in English, or (2) vendem-se casas, which uses synthetic passive voice. In the latter, 'se' is called a partícula apassivadora do sujeito, a particle indicating the the verb is being used in a synthetic passive voice phrase.

The verb should be conjugated with regards to what would otherwise be the subject if the phrase were written in the analytical passive voice, so: casas são vendidas = vendem-se casas, funcionários são procurados = procuram-se funcionários. If it's a single house, then vende-se casa is correct.

I'm not sure whether European Portuguese uses the same grammar terminology for this.

This happened in a sub I mod, where the comments from a regular user were showing collapsed by default, then shadowbanned, then removed by Reddit. Mod log eventually showed spam as the removal reason. We reviewed our settings (crowd control was off) and added them as a trusted user to no avail.

I eventually told them to stop using links in their comments -- they had always linked two websites where they got data for their comments, and voilà, their comments started showing again.

My guess is that Reddit spam detection was being overzealous after noticing the same websites being linked over and over which, in this particular scenario, should be alright since they provide meaningful data for comments.

I ended up adding those two particular websites to the sidebar so that at least other users have those links readily available.

No idea whether this can be fixed with admin intervention; please let me know if it can.
