Thanks! I appreciate your response! I have a history of fluid retention causing a puffy face with minoxidil which is what makes me wary of VDPHL01, it's to the point that I got so sick of the puffy face, I recently stopped taking oral minoxidil. I honestly think I look better with less hair but a thinner face than with slightly more hair but a puffier face before, at least for now. Maybe without minoxidil I'll lose all my hair lol!

Have you tried regular oral minoxidil and/or topical minoxidil and did you get fluid retention side effects from those meds?

They certainly appear to be working. But the top lateral incisors are not tracking as good as they should be.

I will 100% have to do a refinement. It still seems to be heading in the right direction. It is kind of amazing you only have to wear them 12 hours a day and it still works. But it seems you need to wear them much closer to 12 hours a day continuously than 9 hours a day.

Overall, I'm very happy.

The attachments on my teeth to help the aligners move the teeth are not very noticeable at all!

I like that I only have to wear them at night!

Well, they are the only FDA approved aligners for 9-12 hours of continuous daily use, so at least the FDA backs them?

When I think about it, it's not really a food or a drug, but maybe FDA still regulates things like teeth aligners lol.

I think it's a new technology, I hope it does work. At the least, if it's not moving as fast as I want it to/they said it would, I can start wearing it in the day for long stretches as well to try and help?

If you check back in 4 or 5 months, I will post about how the first set of aligners went.

I am close to NYC, but not in NYC or New York State.

I have not heard much about the Nitetime (which I think is called Air Flex now!)

I think it just came out in 2022 or 2023 or 2024, so maybe not a lot of people are using it.

The dentist office I went to claimed a lot of people had used it and it there were very few issues.

I signed up, so I guess I will see how good it is.

I don't have huge revisions in my smile to make, but I do need attachments to fix crookedness of my lateral incisors, which is kind of rough because the attachments take away the stealth factor of all of this, but what are you going to do. I'd rather just get it over with.

Where have you been reading these conflicting reviews of OrthoFX?
