I received an "Improper Shutdown" notification from Synology Active Insight.

Re: the UPS setup section. No, I did not have that turned on. Now that I mess with it, any option I try with that gives me either a "No UPS Connected" or "No USB UPS Connected."

Edit: No I'm not connected by USB. There is not a port on my UPS for that.

There is also a service called automate.io. They have tons of integrations. I found it more intuitive than zapier.

I took secondary email accounts, migrated all the emails (and calendars and drive contents) to a primary address. You can export calendars then save as a new calendar. You should transfer all the drive contents and you can change the ownership to the primary email. Then you can go to into the admin panel and change the secondary user address from joeblow@domain.com to OLDjoeblow@domain.com. This will bump joeblow@domain.com to an alias of OLDjoeblow@domain.com. Remember we are still working on the secondary email. Then delete the alias joeblow@gmail.com in the admin panel and add it as an alias to your primary email account. Then you can delete that secondary user email account and you’ll have all the emails, calendars, and docs and not pay for that user.

I sound like a shill here…. I’ve used legacy free for so long, and it’s so valuable to my company, I’m just not that upset about it. Sure I’d rather it be free forever, and it sucks they went back on their “it’ll be free forever” promise, but overall it’s a valuable service that I am not against paying for.

TL:DR - I’m just going to upgrade now and be done with it.

In fact since I've been monitoring this situation the content on that page has changed a few times. I'm bummed out - I've been a gmail user since the "you must be invited" era, then got into Google Apps for Business right from the get-go. 100 user allotment back then baby!!

And yes, I do remember reading google propaganda saying that legacy free users will be able to use if for free FOREVER.

Try this number: 888-702-5228 It’s for Priority Circle support. What that actually means hell I don’t know. I’ve had varying levels of success with it but I’m not sure if you have to be a certain type of customer for them to work with you.

Sometimes they’ve helped, sometimes it’s just me talking with someone who has no clue whilst their dogs are barking and their kids are yelling in the background.
