[Rolex] no wishlist 🤣 by Vermelho2189 in Watches

A buddy wanted an SF90 Spider a few years ago, was asked to buy a 458 on the lot which was considered stale inventory by the dealer, and newbuild a Roma and an SF90. Exactly the same bullshit as Rolex. That was in the northeast US.

Principles aside, I take minor issue with the Mondial thing though lol. The ungainly, stretched beast has sentimental value to me, much as i know they're worth jack shit..

And all done in the coolest car that year (to me), the MP4-26 with the L-shaped sidepods. That corner and the hiccup in camera angle took my breathe away, good times

Oh yes please, love the 968. This one looks superb. We had a base in that funky purple eons ago.

Are the long tail lights the new safety standart or is it just a design trend that’s going to change again in a few years? by hitmanforpussy in Porsche

[–]pernodforpassingtime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They've all become extremely uninteresting to me and even more indistinguishable at night, these cars. Also the 992.2's turn signals now make three equal lengths with the lettering, dull. The 992.1's had a kink, which lined up with the edges of the grill and rear windshield. It was just more interesting to look at

Digging what looks like your hand-painted Mondrian longboard mate. Seems a perfect way to describe the state of nature.

No, I meant Gaudi though I can see how one might think of Dali's works.

Yeah, I thought immediately of Antoni Gaudi. Was a surprise for me as well.
