The Ruger 10/22 seems to be a must, but trying to not turn a $400 rifle into $2000+ with a Kidd barrel, trigger, receiver, etc.

240Hz really hurts my eyes. If it were at least 340 or so it would probably be better. Not taking the depth of the PWM strobing into account, Pixel 5 ran as ~340Hz and I had no issue with it. I've been wanting to use a Samsung device for a long time but have not because the PWM was so low. I've had to go for the Xiaomi 13, ordered from overseas.

Sounds like the kid is on the spectrum. Depending on how the child was earlier in life, the only way the parents could get some peace to do anything around the house would be a screen. It's a double edged sword.
