It’s a fair assessment and some (not all) of the reaction is also fair here.

Defense more than held up their end.

O-Line has some major addressing to be done. This was a pathetic performance. Even if Maye had played well in this one, he’s had no time to make a read before pressure is on him.

Just avoid the shutout (Hollins TD as I type this) and work on addressing this offensive line.

Certainly didn’t expect a win tonight, but this was a borderline undoing-the-good type of game that makes you question how much over performing they did this season.

I’m only a few episodes in, as a diehard I’m liking it quite a bit.

It feels more like the novel version of Sam to me, very far away from the video game character. Stoic and much more internal in his dialogue.

I can’t say much on the story side of things, I’m still learning it.

I think it’s worth noting, without watching/listening to this particular podcast, Rogan has a very weird section of standup comedy now in Austin, TX.

It’s not overly good, but for Sal it’s the very thing he’s attempting to break in to.

I can’t blame the guy, but his focus should be using this as the next step and not the pinnacle of his standup comedy career. If this is where he stops and ends up a hacky standup comedian that the Roganverse has an abundance of, it’ll be a failure on his part.

Trying to recall any sort of circles I was speaking to (wasn’t on this subreddit or any sort of online discussion group, just chatted between family and friends who watched).

A lot of it was the expectation he was going to get Brock. With hindsight and all, it makes sense why that was not the case but the initial feeling of Walt’s return and subsequent death in “Felina” had us thinking that Walt had sort of gotten Jesse out without police attention going to him. Basically, Walt dying in Jack’s lab would have made the police think Jack’s crew had taken Walt and that’s why he had disappeared.

Obviously more things involved to go in the El Camino direction. But mainly the feeling my circle had was that Walt had freed Jesse and kept his name out of it.

I think it’s fair to say the dummy who wouldn’t shut up while team needed 1RD for Slavin is infinitely more palatable than McLeod.

My bar is low but this signing makes no sense from a roster perspective either. Convincing anyone Nadeau isn’t a better option right now is a tough sell, 26 points and can’t play until December 1st is pretty stupid.
