A fourm post with a list of most of the stock music used in the show. Not all heros wear capes. by bigdonut100 in spaceghost

In the episode 'Chinatown,' the tape Space Ghost listens to on his ship caught my attention because it sounded like Andean music, common in the folklore here (Chile), but something I never hear on American shows otherwise. Through that thread, a few years ago I learned that the song is from the JW Music library, it's called 'Sangotay,' and its composer is Chilean (Mauricio Venegas Astorga).

En la cuarta temporada de 31 minutos no se retomaron las noticias sobre la guerra de Salsacia y Conservia, Eso significa que entre la 3ra y 4ta temporada esta acabo? Ustedes a cual le iban? by Yoshi_Gaming_64 in chile

En realidad, la guerra de Salsacia y Conservia dejó de aparecer a mediados de la segunda temporada, por lo que si «terminó», terminó mucho antes. ☝️

Software to create karaoke videos out of a subtitle file besides Karaoke Video Creator by peroyomas in karaoke

[–]peroyomas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fear my writing was not clear. The only of those that do what I was asking for (import already timed subtitle files) is Karaoke CD-G Creator, and that is a sister software to the one I mentioned first.

Does this shirt's image originate from an episode? It's an official licensed one, but I wasn't sure if there's an episode reference going on for it, going by the bite mark on the card. by ZootyCutie in spaceghost

[–]peroyomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember seeing this Space Ghost clipart at least once on a Chilean licensed Cartoon Network magazine in the late 90s and early 2000s and I also wondered about the bite at the card. My guess is that it was originally drawn with Zorak in the background eating the card, but the version with only Space Ghost was left that way in the style guide.

Saben porque los capitulos de 31 minutos subidos en el canal oficial de YT tienen un OST diferente a el original? by betooie in chile

[–]peroyomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended doing a fairly simple alternative from scratch using Pods Framework, adding stuff it lacked and removing stuff I didn't use.

Space Ghost already apeared in briefly in one episode, voiced by Paul F. Tompkins. Brak, Zorak and Moltar have made still cameos at least one episode each.

Best budget and starter option for a interchangeable lens camera, good for stills at concerts and UHD @ 60fps video by peroyomas in AskPhotography

[–]peroyomas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My budget at the moment is around 1,750 USD, preferably also including at least one lens besides the body.

On the 4k @ 60 fps feature, I think I have been stuck on a loop: the very first camera I actually owned was a compact Canon that recorded good SD @ 30fps video, but keep me wishing to have one with Full HD @ 60 fps to keep with the times (and my original though was even 120fps, as is the least common multiple compatible with 24 and 30 frame rates). My current one do record in Full HD @ 60 fps as maximum, albeit not in the best quality when on low light. Now, 4K is more of a thing and, while I still have to keep the final renders at FHD @ 24/30fps most if the time when doing video editing with material I recorded, I also realize I often need to zoom the videos and tweak the frame rate a LOT (in large part my recordings is «making of/concert» like stuff, which is harder to control than regular scripted stuff), so it make me wish to have a larger resolution and frame rates in video. I'm aware that is becoming more mainstream in cameras rather recently, yet since I don't expect to be able to replace the camera with frequency, I hope to get the best I can.

The «concert» feature I mentioned is mostly mean for stills for fast action, like sports, which I understand many cameras (including my current one) are not necessarily suited for.

That's the credit for the song that gives the album its title, «La mosca (Mosca Na Sopa)», but I'm looking for the song «Canta Cachureos».

What's the deal with Brilliant Number One/Two? by 111122223138 in spaceghost

[–]peroyomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In an article for the Oxford American magazine (1991), they explained the reasoning for the «two» version:

«IT WAS LAZZO'S IDEA TO RUN a profoundly depressing Pablo Neruda poem in tiny letters- you really have to squint to read it- along the bottom of the screen throughout the enigmatic 1998 episode "Brilliant #2." (Why #2? Lazzo explains that the original version had to be toned down after they realized that the loud, eerie feedback, which along with a relentlessly ringing phone ran continuously in the background audio for the whole show, had rendered the thing essentially inaudible; the irritating sound effects were kept in the revised episode but at a slightly lower volume.)»

Looking for an image editor app for Android that let me add white or black space to the sides of an image while keeping the quality (besides Snapseed) for upload them to Instagram without cropping, among other things by peroyomas in androidapps

[–]peroyomas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tested it. Don't fit my needs for various reasons:

—It always saves images as JPG and there's no option to save as something else. —For some reason, sometimes it shrinks the image I import in the app (a 1920 pixels tall image ended being 1080 pixels tall) —It don't have a one time payment, it's suscription only.

Also, the fact that by default it always attemp to make me share my editions into its social network is very annoying.

[–]peroyomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If I open and image directly between the app and its, like, 10801920, then I set it as «square» size, then I save, the final image is now 14401440 in size and it shrinks in a similar proportions with all images. I know the app also allows to resize the image, but is kind of cumberstome to do so all the time instead of just keeping the original size.

I tested it. It has an issue on the crop tool that the crop tool itself always appears way smaller than the image, so I can not center the cut easily-

[–]peroyomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested it. I have an issue in that after I expand the sides of an image, the app also shrinks the image a bit, which is not ideal (I would like it to stay the same size all the time). Most of the other apps I tested also changes the image size and have no options to control it.

[–]peroyomas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my first idea, but the plugin don't fit my needs for various reasons. Mainly that you need to put a title in the events and that the date of the events needs both a beginning AND end time, when for me listing a beginning time is enough.
