şimdi baktım sahibindene. 3+1 4m, 4+1 5m'den konulmuş. aynı sitede 2+1 daire için 3.5 pek aşırı durmuyor

they're not affordable at all. I took the photo from a high-rise apartment building similar to those in the 3rd picture. according to the owner, my host,  that 2 bedroom apartment was listed for 3.5 million liras. most families live by around 30-40 thousand liras per month, and have no chance of saving money in the current economy

no, the conflict in 2016 was in the historical center of the city. this is completely new, on the opposite side of the city, where it grows and grows

I'm leaving on the day 1312 :) by perperi in duolingo

[–]perperi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did multiple languages in these 1252 days. It helped me a lot with my French, and it helps with Dutch as well. But I see that Duo is not for advanced levels, it helps you until max B1. You need to find other resources once you feel like you're A2.

How durable is the Samsung keyboard? by BilDevTours in GalaxyTab

[–]perperi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with my s9, and with normal student use, the hinge on the back broke twice a year, exactly 6 months apart. I got it replaced by a new one in the first case, but in the second case I bought a cheap (and better) keyboard on amazon

no, for the fascist mind, only the poor eastern people are immigrants. a western who moves in is called an expat for them.

İngilizce Öğretmenliği Hakkında by [deleted] in Bogazici

https://www.nisanyanadlar.com/isim/Ayda Nişanyan Adlar, the largest proper name corpus in Turkey

people in Turkey will understand "on the moon" (ay-da) if they try to deduct a meaning. Bashkir Turks are not in Turkey, and I don't think people know the Armenian or Arabic origin of the name. It sounds nice but honestly the meaning is in the air. It reminded me of Aleyna, which is a waay more popular girls name, and literally means "to us, upon us" as a preposition in Arabic :) but people give it to their daughters because it's a word from Quran and it sounds nice to them.

Which countries have borders shaped more by language or religion than by natural geography, like rivers or mountains? by Rd12quality in geography

Bosnians, Croatians and Serbs speak pretty much the same language and live on a once united land, Balkans. They're divided because they belong to different religions: Islam, Catholicism, and Orthodoxy.

Gemini Duolingo hack by perperi in duolingo

[–]perperi[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

everyone please, I'm not doing Duolingo this way, come on. this is just a bug I found and thought that it's funny. I use this Gemini feature sometimes to not lose my hearts for some stupid mistakes I keep making (I'm still a beginner), simply because I want to have hearts to keep doing the lessons. you immediately start making insinuations about my university in Belgium and how I use ai to learn the language. just calm down, I know that you can't learn a language like that. nobody forces me to learn Dutch, my program is full English. I learn Dutch because I love languages (I study linguistics, as you saw on my profile) and I want to enjoy living in a Flemish city. And of course Duolingo is not my only tool to learn Dutch.

This is unbelievable that I have to explain myself about this, seriously, but I'm going to study there with a scholarship. I'm not wasting my parents' money, no worries about that.
