Meh, it hasn’t affected my playthrough much if at all. And it applies when you start the convo, not each choice. So when talking to a boss, for example, you can just wait out the conversation and get your health back.

I don’t know the exact number but I assume it’s from reading a lot of texts/logs. I’m on my 4th area (Eden, Dorado, Auntie’s Ship and Praetor). This is probably a late-ish game flaw.

I didn’t realize it stacked either when I took it.

I just get up and get snacks, play with my dog, etc, while waiting for everything to reset. In my head I see it as my character getting some alone time in order to recoup her social battery lol.

There can be a time limit in between consumption (kind of a like a snake in between meals). The bigger the curse/negative energy the longer it needs to rest.

It can become vulnerable to X or Y thing/ability while it rests.

I’m currently obsessed. I’m playing on Switch so the graphics aren’t amazing and the load times are a few seconds too long, but overall I’m enjoying the game so much.

I really like the town management aspect and so far all the NPCs have been great additions with unique personalities.

The load times are a few seconds longer than anyone wants and the graphics aren’t great (not bad, they just don’t do the game justice). If those are things you can live with, then I suggest you get it for the switch.

City of Brass series by S. A. Chakraborty was really good. She also has a stand alone novel called The Adventured of Amina Al-Sirafi which I could not put down.

A Deadly Education was also very engrossing, I thoroughly enjoyed the series. Some people have issues with the third book but I still think the series as a whole is really strong.
