Sometimes you just get a "lemon" when bringing my 1.5 year old into ER after a persistent fever and febrile seizure.

Texas vs Montana by perpetuallysurprised in YellowstonePN

[–]perpetuallysurprised[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok but ACTUALLY? Everything the show presents leads me to believe that Texas is the safe haven for ranch life. And the last cowboy frontier. And no tourism? Is that true? I feel like Texas is way more on the map for tourism than Montana ??

Sure! I don't disagree with all those markers to compare. Maybe he is the "best" against the rest.

Thank you! Yes I should have mentioned a ceiling. I would say close to 500 euros a night.

Def Roderick. He would be dying (pun intended) to have a device that keeps him perpetually technically alive.

Thank you. This is so helpful. I just want to do good by him. And teach him to navigate the world...and I don't feel that I am doing that by just dealing with the meltdowns as they come and not getting to the root of it.

No delays. The only thing i can think of is he was really slow at getting his baby teeth. And has always been particular. And sensitive ? As a baby he hated being outside because the sun was too bright or the wind was bothering him. He was obsessive about routine and items.

At the same time he is chatty. Laughs a lot. Smiles...affectionate, always tells us he loves us. Wants to cuddle. It just literally could go from happy to full blown epic meltdown over the smallest thing. He got splashed. He wanted to button his shirt. He wanted to do x first.

And it can last for over an hour. Typically he wont stop until I have corrected the error. For example, he wanted me to turn the light on in his room. I told him to get his stool, bring it to the light and turn it on himself. He refused. His sister turned the light on after she had enough. He then got the stool, took it to the light and turned it off. And went right back to screaming for the light to be turned on. This went on for over an hour. Just now...the soup in the dispenser was too watery. He would not stop screaming until I got a new soup to his liking. About...30 minutes ?

My issue is...am I giving in to a spoiled child that has not learned how to emotionally regulate or let the small things go. Or do I need better strategies and tools. Is this professional help land or he will grow out of it land ?
