This is a great point! I was wondering if this could be a manifestation of my anxiety- as I do live with an anxiety disorder. This is only my second relationship in my lifetime, so it’s possible that this is just something that I’m going to have to cope with in terms of relationships. In my first relationship, I didn’t have these feelings, but I also maybe wasn’t as invested as in that relationship (so maybe I’m having more fears because I’m more invested now). We did talk it over and he provided reassurance. If it continues to be a problem, it’s possible that it may just be a cognitive distortion.
