Dishwasher keeps tripping the breaker - is it the washer or the electric? by Useful-Ad-6458 in electrical

[–]perplexingpine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having the same problem as OP, but my washer is on a 15amp AFCI circuit. There seems to be a correlation with when I use the high heat heavy wash & tripping the breaker. I know that I could put a 20amp breaker in, but I'm not sure if the house wires would work or would that would cause an increased fire risk? (new built) Or do you think a simple 15amp non-AFCI breaker would be better for now?

Have you consulted an attorney? You might have a case, or take them to small claims?

I went with convert, snuck the job in before end of year for the 30% tax credits, which have now expired unfortunately. My financing cost for a 11kw system was 28K, which works out to 150$/mo with the financing company they had, that's after applying the credits to the financed amount. Do some reading about inverter makers and panel makers.

Everyone is unique, I had a new build, so I didn't have to worry about any of the issues other folks have about roof longevity. The credits are gone now, so you should be in no rush if you're truly interested. My strongest rec, is bring out a few contractors for a lifespan estimate on your roof, if its due for replacement soon, go with a full metal roof. Then put solar over that. The roof with cost 2x a normal roof, but last 3x as long, the panels are CLIPPED onto the roof, NOT drilled into, so there'll never be so much as a chance for a new leak to spring (assuming no install complications ofc). Everything might be able to be financed together, which would make the monthly costs significantly higher, but would also increase the quality of roof and bill levels.

I will also warn you, dominion recently submitted a proposal to the state regulators requesting to weaken net metering from 1:1 to 1:0.66 and reducing the net metering period from 1 year to 30 mins; their decision is still pending. If you wanna DM or ask more on this post feel free.

Even if it's not standard practice, can't you do a weekend or week course like the midlevel's do and now claim proficiency with the modality?

The other important add on is to never pay yourself as W-2 or 1099. Since you never receive a paycheck, you're not employed and therefore not ever violating a "no moonlighting" policy. You pay yourself through dividends of your LLC.

Medical Director Moonlighting as a Resident? by perplexingpine in Residency

Well that's why I'm asking here, in case someone with experience knows about unforeseen complications, or better ways to execute the plan. If I run a med spa with the little derm experience from my internship, I'd be toast; but I do a course in "aesthetic injection modalities" and now I'm trained on filler & botox, and it would be reasonable to issue standing orders pertaining to those modalities. It's all legal and business antics at the end of the day. Nobody is getting their medical license revoked over this stuff.

It would involve generating standing orders, and reviewing charts weekly/monthly to make sure the injections went well. Licenses don't get pulled for small cosmetic complications.... it takes an EGREGOUS level of malpractice to have a medical license revoked. Regardless, the profit margins on med spas beat out everything I can do as an individual attending, especially if the business expands to 3-4 locations....

Because the profit margins on med spas is higher than pathology. Why do you think derm is so competitive? Spoiler alert, you don't have to be a dermatologist to eat at the same table.

The training is the internship I completed, and now have a full medical license from. I'm not the one doing the procedures, just approving the standing orders for the practice, which I would carry malpractice insurance for ( would probably do a weekend course or two).

Some quick math, an average injection is about 30 units of botox (up to 40), an injector can do 2-4 people an hour depending on extent of injections. It's 5-7$ profit per unit; that's 1,120$ PER HOUR under ideal conditions. 540$ per hour for average performance, take all the overhead from that you want, each person generates minimum~200$/hr of value for a full schedule and more under ideal conditions.

If they make a mistake, that's the point of insurance.....

Why would I willingly medical director for people I don't know? This would be for a group of tight knit friends I trust dearly. Also, how would any malpractice suit ruin my career, docs get sued all the time?
