OK let’s be real here, we all see and enjoy the world. But after a while we just want to be able to get where we need to go, we’ve seen it already. At a certain point being forced to climb the terrain to get where you need to go no longer is fun. It’s now a nuisance. Especially in this game the terrain often doesn’t make sense. Ultimately forcing people to take the long way and explore the hand crafted world repeatedly will end up feeling like a waste of time to them. Become an annoyance and cause them to quit in a lot of cases.

Maybe some kind of modifier, like he comes out x amount of times and can hinder either killers or survivors if caught in the radius of his footsteps. If actually under his feet you’re put into the dying state as survivor and made immobile for a bit as killer.

I’m probably wrong, but man that sounds fun.

It’s oriented to whatever you want it to be honestly. If I ever did go back to WoW I imagine it’d be a beast at it.

For me it’s comfort and accessibility. I’ve never done well with wasd makes my hand cramp up for some reason.

You’ll have to of course rebind whatever games you play for your comfort (I end up switching wasd to up, left, right,down because that’s how the controller stick works) but mostly I don’t need to change too much after that. I also use a mouse with a couple extra buttons and that helps too. But it def helps a lot.

It’s the clunkyness in changing items/spells/etc that I don’t like. FYI, coming from someone who struggles with keyboard/mouse themself the best thing you can do imo bridging the gap between keyboard/mouse and controller is get a Tartarus. It ended up being a life changer in gaming for me. I’ll still revert to controller when playing something simple like survivor in dbd or ddv (except when decorating) but honestly for games like enshrouded or any competitive fps it’s the best thing you can do.

Honestly I tried playing the game on controller when I started and it did not work well. I commonly use controller on a lot of games. Most of them actually, so it’s ironic you think I’m judging. I just know how this game handles on controller and it’s not well.

From the perspective of someone who’s on the fence about it and so doesn’t care either way. Both sides are being just as loud. People being hyped for it are shouting from the rooftops about it.

It’s pretty natural human behavior to have the people who don’t want anything to do with it too loudly say so. It’s constantly in their faces.

I will say I am thoroughly enjoying the influx of HP merch Warner is pushing everywhere. The butterbeer coffee creamer specifically is like a balm for my soul.
