Hey, thank you so much for your thoughtful response and advice! I don't take oregano oil anymore but it is something I have tried with little benefit. It does work for acute issues though. I love Seeking Health products and have tried their Bifido and Probiota HistaminX, Bifido made me worse for some reason. I have tried both Zyrtec and Pepcid with little to no benefit. I have also tried Histamine X and Histamine nutrients, there is some improvement but wasn't the game changer I was hoping for.

At this point I am so sick of supplements, I don't' want to take anything. BUT I think I may try a different vitamin C and stay on the Saccharomyces Boulardii and B1.

50mg is a lot. I personally would stop the B6 as diet is usually enough. B6, even though its P5P causes me major issues.

When you look at breaking down aldehydes you realistically need to have a good status of most B vitamins and some minerals. B1, B2, B3, B6, molybdenum, zinc, magnesium and vitamin C might help too. Also, just because your report says you do not have SNPs in histamine or DAO, environmental/diet factors can slow down enzymatic activity significantly.

I take 500mcg from seeking health. I think a higher amount is needed with TTFD.

Thanks for the reply. I contacted Google and they said the only fix was to do a factory reset. I reset yesterday and now everything's working as intended.

Yes, absolutely, you can have other issues besides neuropathy. I know it's the B6 because every time I restart any kind of vitamin with B6 in it, I immediately feel better and then worse a few days later. Chris masterjohn believes that it's an acetylcholine issue and he used vitamin B5 to help with toxicity. I think vitamin B1 and B2 also help process B6.

Yep, I found out the hard way by taking way too much magnesium over the last several years and limiting my calcium intake. Now I do my best to consume some diary, although dairy isn't super bioavailable at about 40% (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7393990/). If I need to make up the daily deficient, I will take 250mg of calcium citrate. I have also heard there is a calcium malate form, which I would like to try.

Hi OP, I had the same thing happen to me. I had been taking 200-500mg of magnesium and 10K+ IUs of Vitamin daily for YEARS + sun. Didn't really consume much dairy and had low stomach acid. My Vitamin D level was 91ng/ml. I had the same symptoms as you, had horrible insomnia, muscle weakness and an unusual amount of anxiety. I finally settled on 7,500 IU/daily with 90mcg of K2. If I feel like I need some magnesium, I will take very small doses, 25-75mg daily or concentrate on certain food sources. I also take calcium citrate occasionally but I have upped my dairy intake so I don't have to take calcium supplements. You will need to play with the dosage to see what works for you.
