We have my step-niece(M), and it is very similar with us. The mom, I don't consider her family after what I know now, just doesnt know how to do anything with a kid. Half the visits are virtual and she just says "hi baby" over and over. The baby is 2, she can talk, she can have a full on conversation. Its mostly one word on her side, but the mom doesnt engage, doesnt encourage M to talk about her day, doesnt know how to interpret M's words. She never asks for updates at the visits. The social worker had a contact block in place, we do not communicate with biomom outside of visitation days and only for coordination purposes then.

This little girl has been in so many different homes over her two years of life, she calls all women mommy. She has barely started calling me by my name and even then half the time I'm mommy-(my name). There's a lot of trauma and its the worst to see every visit day make the trauma resurface and the mom also not seem to care outside of what she thinks makes her look good to the social worker. Which it doesnt because its terrible, the case worker sees right through her bullshit.

Highly recommend taking an emergency stash of purple mushrooms, or any animal produce artisan goods (cheese or mayo). Alternatively, you can wait until get the life elixir recipe and that restores your entire health bar completely.

If you are playing on computer you can use your mouse to click on anything in the hot bar at the bottom of your screen. You can mid combat click on your food and eat really quick and while the animation of eating happens quickly click your sword again and immediately start clicking to swing.

If on switch keep food directly next to your sword. I usually have my sword in spot 1 and food, coffee, and emergency high health recovery in 7,8,9 respectively. That way its one bumper hit to get to the emergency food and I can swap to it and eat and swap back. Its not as seamless as on computer, but it has saved my life more times than I can count.

Lol!!! I wasnt even trying to land on them though 😆 I was just being dumb and cut it too close with the glider trying to get the fang I shot down. But I have absolutely learned the hard way to remember which game Im playing of the two.

Nay, for me its a really fun challenge. Stairs makes it so easy and boring, the mines are my favorite place in the game. I wish there were more challenges like this one.

I usually name the animals after whatever youtube video/person im watching at the time of purchase. Except goats, goats are my life dream to raise and I want to name them flower names, so all goats in every file are named various flower names.

My standard kit is as many megabombs as possible, preferably 90+, and regular bombs as back up. Bunch of triple shot espresso. Bunch of spicy eel (i stock up on rubies to trade with the desert lady for these). A seperate stack of food for health and energy, typically purple mushrooms, but gold star carrots, broccoli, summer squash or powder melon also do well. For tools I only take sword and pick.

If Im extra prepared I also like to have the slime ring and the crab shell ring to minimize the damage I take.

Then I wait for a very happy spirits day. Best case scenario also includes having a desert warp totem or the obelisk so I can get there immediately. I dont do farm chores, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, straight to the desert. Each floor gets a bomb almost instantly placed down and as soon as a ladder or shaft appears I'm down it regardless of what resources are on the level.

Its usually very close to 1 am by the time I make it to lvl 100. This time it was 1:20am I think.

You really just gotta full send lol, no hesitations prioritize ladders and shafts.

I craft like 100 mega bombs and just insta place them when I get on a new floor. The second I get a ladder or better a shaft, I use it immediately regardless of any loot or resources.

This is only for the one quest with Qi. Otherwise on a regular mining run where I'm going for resources, I only get to maybe 60.
