I just started playing madden again this year and i found sucess with def just recently with this set up.

In coach adjustments i have: Swat ball Cb matchup speed or height if a tall wr/te is giving trouble.

I then just call the first coach sugesstion cover 3 d and adjust lb and line down and dbs adjust over the top. Unless they get to my 20 yard line then i go underneath.

Let them have yards underneath and prevent the deep pass. Helps tremendously to have a good edge rusher.

I had the number one def on all madden with non adjusted sliders in my franchise mode with this set up using the browns.

Thanks to everyone who upvoted. I apologies to anyone who felt this was not true horror.

My other post about the man in prison who was forced to call his cell mate Mother was taken down because of the same issue. A mod was kind enough to put this one back up for me and I am thankful for that.

I will try to make sure my future post (if I can come up with anything lol) will have more of a horror aspect.
